 What to expect for the week of February 8-12

Students will be working on converting liquid capacity between systems.

We will also be starting a HUGE unit involving fractions: students will be relating fractions to division, simplifying and finding equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions, relating fractions to decimals, working with improper fractions and mixed numbers, etc.

All students need to bring in $1.00 for a math project.  They also need to return their Math-a-Thon permission slips to Mrs. Randolph by Monday, Feb. 8, 2010!

• February 22-March 1: St. Jude's Children's Math-a-Thon
• February 24: Early Release @ 11:30
• March 1: All Math-a-Thon money due
